For the calendar - Evrona and S'rin had differing calendars. To solve the problem of the creation of Larina and it's fitting in with S'rin, the dates are denoted from the day Rex Endoic and King Haryll merge their families by the marriage of Rexa Sitale and Haryll's as-yet-unborn heir.
Evrona is in 1276 when King Ervon dies and King Evron assumes the throne, banishing the then-Prince Haryll. Evrona's dates continue from this point as normal.
Larina, the small fledgling nation, dates it's years from the date Haryll proclaimed himself King and settled in the land.
S'rin dates it's years from ancient times when the Empire was larger and is in year 4821 when the Larinan's settle in their land.
So, until the marriage and formalisation of the country merge, the dates applied will be of the person's country and from then on, dated from the marriage of Larina and S'rin.
Sounds more complicated than it is! I promise, it will all be much more streamlined when it is in play.
